Elevated Grounds Social Enterprise Project: The Elevated Grounds Performance Group functions as a Social Enterprise Project that compensates the artists for the time and effort they spend in artistic development workshops, script-development, rehearsals and actual performing. The role of the young artists goes beyond entertaining. They embody the realities of youth who have been touched in some way by issues of mental illness either through personal experiences or they may know of a loved one such as a relative, or friend who is affected my a mental illness. The youth artists are passionate and are vested in their roles as arts educators who aim to eradicate the stigma and taboos that surround mental illnesses. Most importantly, the performances engage the attention of youth by re-enacting the realities of their day-to-day lived experiences through song, dance, drama, and spoken word.  | Services and Programs:
