February 1st 2010 by Elevated Grounds in GeneralAlright so my very first blog… Let me start off by introducing myself my name is Danian Lloyd (I know, I know WHY the “N”.. Its my mom she just likes to be different not to mention a bit difficult at times. Anyways I am a melt college graduate. Graduating from colleges such as George Brown studying theatre arts, Centennial studying Recreation and Leisure services and most recent the Toronto Film Academy for film and television. From when I can remember I have always been obsessed with acting it was just something in my blood that had to be released. It started off in two ways and what I’m about to share with you is no joke. Ok one: watching wrestling with my brother every saturday afternoon played a significant role in finding my passion. I remember watching the likes of Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan just to name a few and watch their every move and watch what they say and how they say and soon after that I was imitating every wrestler I could in front of my brother in front of the mirror every chance I could get and all you can here is me at the top of my voice yelling “ooooooooh yeaaaaaaa” or you wanna know something brother watcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you. Soon after family and friends were telling me how good the imitations were so I kept it up as I got older. and to this day I can probably do about 10 different imitations of wrestlers old and new.
The second impact that help me find my passion in acting and wanting to perform was a pretty big one it started with…….

So I know a lot of u have been waiting anxiously for part 2 of my blog I left with telling u the influences that played a major role in my passion for acting I left with giving you the 1 out of the two so here it is world the moment you all been waiting for my second influence growing that help me find my passion issss… I’m sorry I can’t do this your just going to have to wait yet another week..
No I’m joking sorry about that folks I thought that was funny giving you guys another cliff hanger/to be continued but no I won’t and seriously now let me explain my second influence finally… Basically it was when I started to watch fresh prince of bel air yes I said it I was a fene for that show growing up no joke taping every episode using each character from Geffory and his english accent, Carlton and that goofy snap dance, jazz and his stupidity to the infamous wise fast spoken of Will Smith I used each charcter to express myself in grade school and just like I did with wrestling I stock with it as I got older will smith I am proud to say is without a shout of a doubt one of my all time favorite actors of all time he is so talented and so gifted and I try to do the best I can to mirror his skills not only in television but also on the big screen there are so many episodes I can discuss with you all right now that will forever be my favorites but I think I can use that for my next blog maybe….

Ok ok so I know in my last blog I said I will be discussing fresh prince episodes well ya change of plans that aint happening lol sorry to fellow readers for the dissapointmentm so what’s on the menu for tonight hmmm what should I talk about hmmm let’s see for the last month now about 3 days a week I’ve been continuing to help out elevated grounds by being part of their cast in a production called stressN part 2.. The first time I performed with Elevated grounds in this production was november of last year at mary ward which was a huge performance now I get to do it all again. I play a character by the name of Jerome he’s a quiet type dude who has a major obsession an obsession that only comes when he’s dealing with either personal issues or just issues it self this obsession is smoking weed. Every chance he gets that’s what he’s on. Its not that he enjoys that much it just the little things that begin to distract him I mean Jerome is a good student but when he has a mom that doesn’t listen and only looks at the bad in him and never thee good. That doesn’t believe in his gifts and talents what better to do than go to drugs right …. Jerome tries to balance all these things school and keeping up good grades, a relationship he has with his girl,a mom that basically ignores everything he does and with all that try and not get into the wrong crowd and build up some bad habits … Sounds like a typical young man sounds like the life of a canadian teenager don’t u think I don’t kno u tell me … Leave comments or email let know folks wat u think is this a life of a canadian teenager ?… Thanks folks
Hi everyone this week has been real tough but I’m here giving a antoher dose of my entertaining blogs well at least I hope there entertaining and if it isn’t then oh well I’m not gonna do anything about it lol… So this week I was only able to attend one practice and that is because I have been so busy with my work life picking up a few extra shifts to pay off some bills… But I hve been working on my script and also on my character if u guys were wondering…..Well I’m sorry for keeping this short but it has just been very busy for me and I apologize to all my readers SORRY I’m sorry take care readers and bye for now
Hi again I’m so thankful this week is finally over and on to a next hopefully a better one a more relaxing one all so I cann keep in touch with all my readers.. Ioh. Before I forget let me begin with promising u all that u Will be seeing me this week meaning I will be attending all rehearsals thank GOD ..So now that I got that out of the way ill also inform u that I hve been with a new agency for the last little while and things are going great I finished my photo shoot and the pictures came out looking superb can’t wait to show u all and also the OLYMIPICS are here go CANADA go Sorry for being little over excited but come on we gotta stand up and rep our country plus I work at roots so I go to right lol anyways can’t wait for rehearsal once again to see u all it feels like it has been a loooong while since I seen u all so here’s a hey wats happenin to u all and untill then I will see u tuesday enjoy your weekend keep safe y’ll and have fun

Other than that folks life has been going well rehearsals are now picking up due to the crunch time that we hve left until the performance date well until next time
Hi guys the weekend is ending and what a weekend it was. I don’t know about you guys but my weekend was a blast I’m going to keep this nice and short this time around because I am just beat I went over to blue mountain ski resort with a couple of my bodies and boy let me tell you skiing is probably the hardest thing I have ever tried in my life and I give major credit to those skiers in the Olympics because I could never be doing that I tried and boy did I fail .. Miserably lol but speaking about the Olympics wOww can we say CANADA Go canada go

JUST 2 weeks left 2 weeks left and our first performance a bit excited I know when it comes to rehearsal a lot of work needs to be done a lot .. Were now gettin on the right track but still work needs to be done. Other than that I’m really enjoying the dance steps for the “they don’t really care about us” scene. I think it adds a lot to the scene and its pretty entertaining not to mention that its rehearsing it lol.. So for the next two weeks its gut check time giving everything we got at every rehearsal no time for joking around it serious oh and did I mention EG is performing Stress-N Out march 29th come and support untill next time guys
I hope u guys get to read this but I would like to apologize to all of in advance for this Tuesdays rehearsal. To let you all know I tried with all the power that was in to switch/change my shift and no can do … So this Tuesday I will not be able to come to rehearsal I truly apologize to you all but rest a sure I will be there for Wednesdays and Thursday’s rehearsal. Wat beautiful week not so much of weekend tho with the weather being so cold and rainy just so miserable. Nothing at all like like the midweek with the sun shining and all. But enough of the weather talk let’s get on with the rehearsal progress. This week has been real good a lot of good things a lot of changes were made during rehearsal changes that were making the play a lot more effective and I totally believe that it will be. Our assistant director Trisha has been working diligently on this play putting her 100 percent of her sweat and blood into making this performance not only a performance that people will enjoy but also a performance that will be unforgettable a performance that people of all ages and all races can relate to and have it speak to them. So I’m taking this
time to thank our assistant director Trisha for dedicating her time for this performance because she has been doing a great job so thank you and keep up the good work
So its offical now 2 weeks left only 2 weeks left until stressin outs performance. rehearsals are getting tighter and with a new director coco helping out trisha its also getting intense in a good way. Like I’ve been saying the past recent weeks rehearsals are have been very productive and with the additions to some of the scenes rehearsals is actually fun and less stressfull “it feels like 10 to ton bolder has been lifted of my shoulders.”So its march break this week we have a couple of rehearsals long ones in that matter 2 10-3 so it will be intresting and again long But that’s what its all about folks so keep in touch if u have comments or questions just leave a message and you know I’ll answer and write back to you all I’m a man Of my word. I can’t believe it. Alllll the hard work the dedication the sweat that we all put it in through out the last 3-4 months will now be tested come the 29th which is next week. Last week rehearsals was intense showing up during march break and breaking down and perfecting each scene making this performance a unforgettable one. I know you guys are probably sick and tired of me saying that but its true and as an actor I believe in this performance so please come out and support MARCH 29th “stressin out”
Aright folks instead of getting all excited and tell you how close we are to the date of the performance I decided to something a bit different only because it has been along weened for me I was in buffalo for my sisters soccer game and I just came back no to long ago so this time or for this blog rather I’m gonna keep this brief. sorry for all my fans and readers who look forward into reading my blogs but for this week I’m way to beat to keep typing so at this time I’m gonna say good night and sleep tight stay tuned for next week for a better blog night folks
